This script is a multi-layered technical analysis tool designed to identify significant structural turning points in price movement. It functions by identifying key "peaks" (highs) and "valleys" (lows) across three different timeframes or sensitivities simultaneously, allowing a trader to see the overall market structure at a glance.

Core Logic Overview

The script operates on the principle of Fractal Geometry and ZigZag dynamics. Instead of just showing every minor price wiggle, it filters out "noise" to highlight only the most significant structural shifts. It does this through three specific layers:

1. Three-Level Analysis (Multi-Timeframe Perspective) The script calculates three distinct sets of data based on different periods. This allows you to view the market at three scales:

  • Short-Term: Captures immediate price fluctuations and minor trends.
  • Medium-Term: Identifies the primary "swings" or the current trend direction.
  • Long-Term: Highlights major historical levels and significant structural shifts.

2. Deviation and Backstep Filtering To ensure the markers aren't triggered by every tiny price change, the script uses two specific filters for each level:

  • Deviation: This acts as a "minimum movement" threshold. A new peak or valley is only recognized if the price moves by a specific percentage/amount compared to the previous point. If the move is too small, the script ignores it.
  • Backstep: This manages how the script "looks back" at recent data to confirm that a point is indeed a local extremum before officially placing a marker on the chart.

3. Dynamic Peak/Valley Identification The logic follows a recursive check:

  • It scans the price history to find the highest high and lowest low within the specified look-back period.
  • If it finds a new high that exceeds the previous one, it "recalculates" or updates the position of the marker.
  • If it finds a lower high (during a downtrend) or a higher low (during an uptrend), it ensures the markers are placed in a logical sequence that represents the true "path" of the market price.

Visual Representation

The script translates these mathematical calculations into visual markers on your chart:

  • Symbols: It uses different symbols (arrows/shapes) for each of the three levels so you can distinguish between a small price wiggle and a major trend shift.
  • Color Coding: Each level is assigned a specific color (e.g., Chocolate, MediumVioletRed, and Yellow), allowing you to immediately see which scale of price action is currently active.

Summary for the User

Think of this script as a "map" that simplifies a messy chart. By looking at these three layers, you can see not just where the price is right now, but where it has been and what the significant "walls" and "floors" are on different scales. It helps filter out the "static" of the market to show you the clear backbone of price movement.
