The i-ParamonWorkTime script is a visual trading tool designed to help market participants identify key global trading sessions and periods of high activity directly on their price charts. Instead of forcing you to manually keep track of international clocks, this tool automatically draws colored zones over your historical data to illustrate when major markets (such as Asia, Europe, and the US) are active.

Core Functionality

The primary purpose of this script is to provide a visual "map" of the trading day. It segments the 24-hour market cycle into six distinct time blocks. By looking at the chart, you can immediately see which global regions are currently open and which specific "windows" of volatility occur throughout the day.

Key Features

  • Historical Visualization: The script doesn't just show today's session; it looks back over a user-defined number of days (defaulting to 50). This allows you to see how market behavior patterns repeat over time.
  • Pre-Defined Global Sessions: The logic is built around significant global milestones, including:
    • Asia Open
    • Dubai/Russia Open
    • Europe Open
    • London "Big Ben" News (High volatility period)
    • US News
    • Europe Settlement
  • Visual Distinction: Each session is assigned a unique color. This helps traders differentiate between early morning lulls, midday transitions, and high-impact news windows at a single glance.
  • Dynamic Price Mapping: For each session, the script identifies the highest and lowest price points reached during that specific timeframe. It then draws a solid rectangle (a "zone") on your chart based on those extremes, effectively highlighting the "trading range" for that period.

How it Works for the User

When you load this tool, it scans the past several weeks of market data. For every day in that history, it identifies the specific start and end times for the six major sessions. It then calculates the price boundaries for each of those windows and places a colored box on your chart.

By using these boxes, a trader can quickly identify:

  1. Market Sentiment: How much "space" the market moved during a specific news event.
  2. Volatility Clusters: Which times of day consistently produce the widest price ranges.
  3. Session Transitions: The "hand-off" periods where one global market closes and another begins.

In short, this script transforms raw time data into a visual guide, allowing you to see the "heartbeat" of the global markets directly on your trading platform.
